Wholesale Voice: get started and use it well

Connect your switch for voice termination: what we need, how to test, and how to keep quality high.

Updated 30 Oct 2026

Wholesale Voice gives carriers and resellers voice termination with direct and premium routes, automatic failover and real-time call records.

What we need from you

  • Your company details and expected traffic (countries and volume).
  • Your signalling IP addresses, so we can allow them.
  • The number format you send (we recommend full international format).
  • Codecs you support.

Getting connected

  1. We agree a rate sheet and open a prepaid account.
  2. We allow your IP addresses and send connection details.
  3. Run a test route with a small set of calls.
  4. Check call quality, caller ID and billing, then add traffic step by step.

Best practice

  • Send full international numbers.
  • Send a valid caller ID. Many destinations reject calls without one.
  • Ramp up slowly. Increase traffic in stages and watch the figures.
  • Keep your balance topped up, or use online top-up, so calls do not stop.
  • Report problems with examples: number, time, and call ID.

Quality figures to watch

Figure What it means
ASR Share of calls that are answered
ACD Average call length; a sudden drop signals a problem
PDD Delay before ringing

Advanced options

Ask us about these:

  • Direct or premium routes per destination.
  • Limits for calls at once and new calls per second.
  • Automatic failover between routes.
  • Rate updates by destination.

Common questions

Calls are rejected. Check that your IP address is allowed, the number format is correct, and your balance is sufficient.

One destination has a poor answer rate. Send us examples and we check the route.
